Very efficient corrosion inhibitor for long-time protection of metal surfaces that are exposed to harsh weather conditions. Forms a solid, wax-like and flexible film that has an excellent UV protection. The dried film is heat stable up to approx. +200 °C. Displaces moisture. Excellent salt spray resistance, salt spray test according to ASTM B-117, 2-3 mils (50-75 microns), carbon steel (1010) 900-1500 h. Can be removed with hydrocarbon solvents or alkaline cleaning agents. Meets the following standards: MIL-PRF-16173 E (Grades 1 and 2), NATO 6850-66-132-5848 and 6850-66-132-6099 as well as NSN 8030-00-062-6950, 8030-00-231-2345, 8030-00-244-1300 and 8030-01-470-2601.
Properties: coverage capacity form 7 to 8 m²/l @ 75 micron surface, dry film in 12-24 h, touch dry in 0.5-3 h, the carrier is petroleum distillate, shelf life in vessels 24 months @ 24 °C temp, non-volatile components 57-61 %, viscosity @ 23 °C 600-5000 cps (6 rpm) Spindle # 2, VOC 347-372 g/l, density 0.89-0.91 kg/l.
